Every AI feature is Claude, with your own Anthropic key, entered under Settings ▸ CONFIGURATION (Verify tries it with one short request). The key is kept in the Windows credential store, never in a file; when the store cannot be reached it lasts for the session only. Without a key nothing is sent, and the rest of the program works the same.

What is sent, and when

Levels 0 and 1 of the review, the lists, the checks, OCR and the exports never use the network.
